COVID-19 Safety
for in-person programming with The Bitove Method

We will do all within our power to provide an environment for everyone to engage in safely. Please read the below COVID-19 safety policies thoroughly to ensure you are aware of the measures we are taking to protect our participants, their family and friends, and our staff.

Last updated April 22nd, 2022

Proof of Vaccination

Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 will be required to attend. You can set up your Vaccine QR Code by registering here, and you may present it day-of or email it to katia@thebitovemethod.com

Masking

For the entire duration of our program all people including staff, participants, and care partners will be required to wear a mask and adhere to the social distancing requirements.

Note that masks may be removed temporarily for eating and drinking at snack time.

Social Distancing

If a member requires any physical assistance to engage or mobilize within the space they will need to be accompanied by a carepartner. The Bitove Method team will not be engaging in dancing, hugging, or other physical engagement with participants at this point in time.

Cleaning and Disinfecting

Hand sanitizer will be provided and offered throughout the program. We will also be maintaining a process of sanitizing objects, surfaces, etc. and we will not be sharing equipment or materials without disinfection between users.

Self-Isolation after COVID

If you have contracted Covid-19, Public Health guidelines dictate that staff, participants, or carepartners, must NOT attend our in-person program for 10 days after either the first onset of symptoms, or the first positive Covid-19 test.

See the Public Health website here for more information.

Acknowledgement

We recognize these added safety measures may have an impact on your ability to participate, and we apologize for any inconvenience. Please know that these protocols, while important for us now, will not be in place forever - we will adjust and follow the measures provided to us by Toronto Public Health and the guidelines for Ontario Adult Day Programs.
