New Album Released: LOVE

In April 2020, just after COVID became a reality, there was a lot of fear and uncertainty, a lot of negativity in the air.  I decided to create a collection of original compositions inspired by positive vibes and LOVE.

I began writing lyrics inspired by LOVE and created four songs within the first four days of starting the project. Not long after in May, my father Irving Koven passed away. He was in a long term care facility, and because of lock down restrictions, I had not seen him since mid-March.  A couple of weeks after he passed, I composed three songs dedicated to him and my late mother, Flossie.  By mid June I finished composing all twelve songs for the album.  Over the next several months I produced the songs with the help of fourteen different musicians sending their tracks to me virtually, which started the production process.

I am so grateful for technology available during these crazy COVID times, allowing me to produce music in the home studio environment as well as stay in touch with my fellow musicians, friends and family.

The album will be available online at stevekoven.bandcamp.com and also at www.stevekoven.com

There will also be a limited edition of vinyl albums available.

The Beatles were correct in saying, ‘All you need is LOVE'.

Spread the LOVE!
