The artist: Elisabeth (Betsy) Palmer Eldridge (1938 -) was born in Chicago Illinois but spent most of her adult life in Toronto, Ontario. Betsy is a German trained bookbinder and paper conservator who was an active teacher of these arts for decades.

Her passion for conservation extended to a love of all things old including houses, furniture, poetry, and genealogy. Betsy is an animal lover - both big and small from horses to small finches. She is married with two children and three grandchildren.

This art piece was made by an artist living with dementia and has been reproduced as part of a print-sale fundraiser for The Bitove Method.
